Do you want to get better at speaking another language, learn about a new culture, earn school credits, or make it easier to get a job later? Knowing what you want to do will help you decide which study abroad program is right for you.

Research destinations: Look into different countries and cities where you can study abroad. Think about things like what language people speak, what their culture is like, what the weather is, how safe it is, how much things cost, and how close it is to cool places to visit which college you want to go, according to your subject which college is good. Make a list of places that interest you and align with your preferences.

Choose a program type: Decide on the type of study abroad program that suits you best. Options include semester/year-long exchange programs, short-term summer/winter programs, internship opportunities, volunteer programs, and specialized study tours. Think about how long you want to go, what classes you need to take, and if you want to do any other activities outside of university.

Weather: Researching the weather for a study abroad program is a smart move to prepare for your time abroad. Before Going to the country you have chosen it is important to know the climatic conditions.

Review academic offerings: Evaluate the academic curriculum and course offerings of each program to ensure they align with your academic interests and requirements. Check if the program offers courses in your major/minor field of study, as well as elective options that appeal to you. Also, consider the reputation and accreditation of the host institution.

Consider language requirements: If you plan to study in a non-English-speaking country, assess your language proficiency and determine if the program requires language proficiency tests (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS). Some programs offer language courses or immersion programs to help improve your language skills.

Evaluate costs and financial aid: Calculate the total cost of the study abroad program, including tuition fees, accommodation, meals, transportation, insurance, visa fees, and personal expenses. Explore scholarship opportunities, grants, loans, and financial aid options available for international students. Compare the affordability of different destinations and programs as per your pocket.

Consult with advisors: Seek guidance from academic advisors, study abroad advisors like Education Street, professors, alumni, and peers who have participated in study abroad programs. They can offer valuable insights, advice, and recommendations based on their experiences and expertise.

Review support services: Consider the support services provided by the host institution or study abroad provider, such as orientation sessions, academic advising, housing assistance, cultural integration programs, health services, and emergency support. Assess the level of support available to international students and the overall student experience.

Reflect on personal preferences: Reflect on your personal preferences, interests, and comfort level when choosing a study abroad destination.

With the help of these factors and carefully considering them you can choose the right study abroad program that fulfills your aspirations and enriches your educational journey.

All Masters in whichever course you wish to do is taught in One year. Even the MBA in the UK is for One year. This suits a lot of students who have a time crunch in their careers. This one-year master’s is acceptable worldwide so you need to worry about this.

2. Is UK affordable for Indian students?

One year course in the UK as mentioned earlier makes it very economical for students who have a limited budget. Compared to the USA where the master’s degree is for two years this saves huge money for you and still provides you with the best education experience.

The cost of Education study in the UK varies from University to University. Tuition Cost and Living Cost are two components of expenses for which you need to be ready.

Tuition fees range from 10,000 Pounds to 25,000 Pounds

Living Cost range from 10,000 Pounds to 15,000 Pounds

The cost of study varies on your course and which city in the UK you choose to go to. Depending on your budget we can pull out the best University. So in total, you looking to spend around 24,000 Pounds to 26,000 Pounds.

3. English Taught courses and country

The UK is a true and original English Country and hence as a student, you have huge comfort, as communication is not restricted.

4. Is IELTS required for study in UK?

Most masters require only IELTS for their admission. Right from Top-notch schools like Cambridge, Oxford, and Imperial, etc. For master’s education, we require IELTS only. MBA would require a GMAT from an AMBA accredited University along with IELTS. So IELTS is compulsory.

It is also possible to study in the UK without IELTS. For this, you should have to fulfill English requirements such as having proof of over 70% in English in High School or taking an online interview conducted by the university, or proof of English as your medium of instruction in your school.

5. Stay back and Work Permit after Study in the UK

The beauty of UK education lies in their stay-back option being double. One year course provides two years stay-back options for students So this makes it a very lucrative time for students to network and find a good job suiting their profile.

6. High Return Investments in the UK

As you have two years to work their default with every master in the UK it is good enough time for you to recover your expenses of education. Every master’s leads to different salaries but typically your salary ranges from 45000 pounds to 55000 pounds a year. This way with the student visa granted to you, you could return your money back.  So it’s a perfect opportunity to take.

Every student is allowed to work 20 hours per week. You get paid around 8 pounds to 10 pounds per hour. This way part-time jobs can provide support to remove your living expense to quite an extent.  However let us tell you one thing here, as the degree duration is one year only you may compromise on your studies and assignments if you invest more time in part-time jobs. So do balance it well with studies.

8. UK is a leading global destination for headquarters

The UK is a super economy and has been a big marketplace always. Several companies from various industries have their headquarters in the UK. This makes it a very good place for you to establish your career. They surely require skilled people in their countries and hence have started this 2-year stay-back option for students, which was restricted and not given for the last 8 years almost.

9. Post-Brexit, Job Market growing stronger in the UK

We all know BREXIT has been hard pressing on the UK job market as a lot of Europeans receded back. The loss of one is the gain of others. This is proven very true for Indian students, as you are the gainers here. UK has opened their stay-back option for two years only due to BREXIT and citing a huge shortage of skilled laborers. So here is your chance to shine and grab the roles.
